Recipes - Roast Chicken
Ingredients
1 whole chicken
75g butter
2 cloves garlic, sliced (optional)
1 lemon (quartered) |

Method
1. Slide your hand between the skin of the chicken and the breast, and place the butter and garlic (if used) in the space formed.
2. Season the bird with salt and pepper.
3. Place on a baking tray and place the quartered lemon around the chicken.
4. Cover with tin foil. Push the fire to the back of the oven and place the chicken in the oven. Roast for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
5. Remove the tin foil and return to the oven for a further 20 minutes until the skin is crispy.
6. Carve and enjoy!
